New house is like a new canvas, one more opportunity to create everything from scratch Create new mood, get new twist for the same story, story of your “Home”.
When I moved to Saigon, first shocking realisation for me (compare to Muine) - was prices for renting a house or apartment. In Muine for 300$ + 50$ for utilities I was able to rent the whole house with the 2 beautiful bedrooms, huge kitchen and living room, plus garden and 10 mins away from the sea and I have to admit 200 km away from culture & civilisation…
In Saigon civilisation, culture and people was everywhere, but to find a house for 300$? are you joking! House’s rent prices in Saigon starts from 600$ and up for little skinny house in the far sides of Ho Chi Minh city. Room rent prices starts from 250$….
So you understand? Most of the people who came to conquer the big city, rent a room and stay in sharable house. Most of the time sharable house or apartment is the only way to afford good living place while conquering your dream.
Wise proverb says: “It is not the places that grace the men, but men the places”. And as a person who for the last 3 years shared houses with more than 20 different people. I can say that there is a HEAVEN & HELL difference to live under the same roof with people who share or do not share the same understanding and value of the place called “HOME”.
“The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back.”
I was lucky to start my journey in Saigon with incredible people, who taught me a lot about cultural differences and similarities of the beautiful soul no matter of the age, nation or skin colour. Our Airnbn Experience showed us how it is important when you alone in the new country or tired of constant moving, to have feeling of home and peace. Place where you can be you.
Finally with help of a lot of people it happened. And with open heart and door to the new house we ready to host family, friends and new housemates, who’s freshly new rooms are done! Who ever you will be our new housemate, we tried to create cozy, but productive mood in each room.
So what do you think, would you live in one of this rooms?
